I would guess, positive to earth. Most things British, were back then.

Daimler Dingo Mk III
Sorry. I am not doing very well with this post at all.
It is just for the Miniart Daimler Dingo Mk III so I guess it would be the two 6 volt batteries as you suggest. Cheers Kevin
