The discovery of the wreckage has done little to solve the mystery surrounding the magnificent ship's demise.
The absence if damage to the hull would tend to rule out the use of torpedoes.
All damage appears to have been concentrated to the rearmost two masts.
Still, the ship seems to be remarkably preserved.
