When bought, they would have been the British bronze green. As they got paint jobs in Cdn service, they would have been painted the semi gloss OD, same as the jeeps and 3/4 tons of the era. Into the 70s, they were painted (usually by brush) the 3 color cdn cam pattern.

Ok more info:
This unit is own by the RCOC Museum in Montreal. So we are looking for the exact color the Canadian units would be. If possible we would like the exact formula or name etc of the paint. I told the Curator that our Forum will provide this info with out fail. Please help an artillery gunner with a tank color. UBIQUE |

Here are the Colours from the Old Canadian 1-GP-12c Colour Standards.
Olive Drab Semi Gloss 503-220 Olive Drab Flat 503-320 The Tri Colour Scheme consisted of the following colours. Black 512-301 Olive Green 503-321 Green 503-322 Tempo Aerospace http://tempo-aerospace.com/Tempo-Home.html An orginal Supplier to the DND of 1-GP-12c colours still has the Colour chips on file and can match any of the old 1-GP-12c colours.
