A friend of mine, and someone some of you know, (Chris Corbett) is a member of that team. He bought 5 carriers just before joined the military, he ended up having to sell them off and I got 3 of them. They are all gone now.

These guys are part of the EME (Electrical Mechanical Engineers) they are mechanics. As part of this Branch, all I have to say is anything they have looks great but is held on by cotterpins. Would you trust them with your daughter??
and would you buy a used jeep from them?? All kidding aside it is a real good show and it goes to show how tough the M38 is. |

Can someone from our canadian friends give us some more info about them?
Do they serve in a sole unit all together, or they are, in some way, "the best mechanics" who have picked from many different technical units? |

I know for a fact that Chris is a wpns tech based in Gagetown NB, as to the other members I am not sure but I will talk to Chris in a few hours and can find out any details you would like to know.

I watched a PNE parade in Vancouver in the 1960s and they were doing the same thing. They'd stop the Jeep and dismantle it then carry the pieces a block or so and reassemble it then drive up to their spot in the parade and tear it all apart and do it again. I don't know how many times they'd have done it before reaching the Exhibition grounds.
I'm not sure about cotter pins but most of the bolts were 1/4 turn fasteners.
