Hi all - help needed again. What is the home for this can? I didn't photograph the front but it appears it had a tap that has been removed and plugged.

It appears to be the crew water container from INSDIDE a british AFV. I have seen a slightly larger and different one here in Perth. My best guess is that it's from a coventry or daimler armoured car. And it's rare.
Cheers Phill

Bob - is there anything to indicate what country it originated from???
Its shape and the crease's in the metal make it look awfully like the containers on the rear of some the German tanks - a Panther for one.

Hi guys - thanks for your suggestions to date.
Tim - do yours have taps? Tony - nothing to indicate a country of origin. The scripting you see on the images is as good as it gets. Phill - I think we all agree, armoured water container. Big question, from what. Bob
