Im not home right now, but IN St Maarten where I am right now its about 30c. Sorry ment to say +30c. In case you cared to know about it.
 Mind you the nice cool breeze coming off of the ocean feet away helps.

Not only will his trip end, but notice that he is sitting inside the hotel right now in order to use the internet.
Darn cold here in Manitoba too...-21 with 20km winds to make it feel like -32. Sure you kind of expect that here in Manitoba in January, but we have not had a decent day since early December. Usually there is at least the odd day when it will reach near 0C. What the heck, I am off to Cuba tomorrow for a week. I did not miss the winter the last couple years, and I kind of wish I was basking in the warmth of Kandahar again this winter.

Jordan, as Wilf indicated it was -33C in our area last night. The good news is that for your arrival back from Shangri-la the forecast is for -1C but there is a possibility of freezing rain. Have a safe trip back.
As for Rob, Cuba should be a nice break from winter on the prairies. I watch your brutal temperatures and shudder. Where I live we get a sh*t load more snow though. Saturday we got another 40 cm. Maybe it's all blowing here from Manitoba.  Cheers, Barry
