She phoned you but only got your voicemail. Keep warm buddy. No CMP restoration work today I hope. Cheers, Barry

Not only will his trip end, but notice that he is sitting inside the hotel right now in order to use the internet.

Darn cold here in Manitoba too...-21 with 20km winds to make it feel like -32. Sure you kind of expect that here in Manitoba in January, but we have not had a decent day since early December. Usually there is at least the odd day when it will reach near 0C. What the heck, I am off to Cuba tomorrow for a week. I did not miss the winter the last couple years, and I kind of wish I was basking in the warmth of Kandahar again this winter. |

Now that is one amazing video. I gotta admit, I didn't think the video was going to turn out the way it did.

Jordan, as Wilf indicated it was -33C in our area last night. The good news is that for your arrival back from Shangri-la the forecast is for -1C but there is a possibility of freezing rain. Have a safe trip back.

As for Rob, Cuba should be a nice break from winter on the prairies. I watch your brutal temperatures and shudder. Where I live we get a sh*t load more snow though. Saturday we got another 40 cm. Maybe it's all blowing here from Manitoba. ![]() Cheers, Barry
