Default For auction near Ottawa, Canada March 19

Found on the web, they are the local auction agents for government vehicle disposal http://www.rideauauctions.com/?id=2&...&highlight=498

The listing includes 5x Iltis and 2x 1/4 ton trailer, also 1 4x4 commercial pattern 1992 GMC from DND 3-5 ton? with self loading crane.

Those trailers have seen better days. Hard to say if they were rolled, dropped, or run over.

The Iltis all appear to have been cannibalised, as one might expect from releases this late in the game. Almost surprising that they are still showing up from the DND system.

I noticed a couple weeks ago that the Iltii that were in the motorpool at the North Bay Armoury are suddenly missing...
They have been parked in the same place for the last 2 or 3 years and seemingly never left the lot on exercise during this time.
Perhaps they are off to auction in either Ottawa or Toronto as well....

Thats an M100!!

Where the hell did they dig that one up?

Anyone going to the viewing? I may bid on it. The bin on my M416 is OK. Probably just switch it over and swap Fenders.

I have straightened worse M100s than that. Trick is to jack up the body corner(s), then replace the round tubing in the top edge to finish it all off. The mig will be your friend.

If anyone is planning on attending that auction (and not bidding on the M100 ), PM me. It seems I can't proxy bid over the Internet.
