Default Last Call

I am about to finalise the layout before going to print and thought I'd give you all a shout. If you would like your carriers featured in what is my last volume of Universal Carriers please would you send me a photo of your beloved machine. I'd prefer photos with no modern attachments if possible!

Photos should be scanned to 300 resolution and saved as .tiff files. Please include caption and place located (not actual address more like Highlands of Scotland!)

Also last chance to record carrier veterans stories and accounts, if you have any send them to me. Word format works for me (saves me typing it all out!! My single fingure is getting shorter!)

Final Volume will be launched at War & Peace, England in July where my carrier will be attending.

Nigel

Hi Richard, not at all! It means no coke cans, sunglasses, modern tools etc etc. All carriers, carrier projects, wrecks, wrecks to be restored, veterans photographs etc really welcome.

Need items by end of this month, no later. Thanks.

How's things going with your restoration anyway Richard?
I'm at the painting stage, the nice bit!

Nigel

Default W & p 2011

If Nigel is launching his final book at W & P this year.

We should all help him and make this a special year for carriers at W & P.

How many can we get in the arena at one time and support his book launch?

Or how about a drive around the site lead of course by Nigel?

I'm hoping to be there with my carrier Saturday and Sunday.

How else can make it.?

Barry

The draft is being finalised on Sunday so if there are any more takers for having their carriers or project carriers (they don't have to be completed vehicles) in Vol3 please send photos as detailed and a brief description to me by Saturday 1800hrsGMT. Thanks

Nigel
