Log in requirement
For years, I've just had to click on MLU in my Favourites, and there I was.
2-3 days ago, and since, I've had to log in with user name and an 8 digit number password that GWB gave me long ago. Why is this? What has changed? Note that this has happened on other forums which I regularly visit. ?????

Sounds to melike you have deleted all of the cookies off of your browser, or some helpful anti-virus programme has done it for you.
Have a look at the settings on your browser, and enable cookies if it isn't already enabled.

login requirment
The only way I could open MLU was use the one with powered by vBullitin after Googling

Cookies
Tes, that seems to be caused by cookie deletion, which can be done by going TOOLS > DELETE BROWSING HISTORY and then clicking on COOKIES (accidentally).
Sometimes computers just seem to fail to remember a cookie... just being awkward!
