I have a WC55 (37mm Gun Motor Carriage M6) It had the following posting instructions stencilled on the front guards (or should I say, fenders)
Can anyone explain, from who and where to who and where. The picture is of the stensils I made. The vehicle was a Marine corp vehicle (in keeping with the instructions) Forrest Green with yellow markings and no Rego number. So, Yelp S1, and Epic S3. What are they? (I think my stencils should have "USMC" in front of the word "base" in both cases)

Hi Lynn,
I`m sorry i cant help with the very interesting markings on the truck, but have you thought about asking here- http://www.g503.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=84 It is the USMC, USCG and USN page on g503. Admittedly for jeeps, but there are alot of USMC dedicated researchers and knowledgable people there. Cheers, Ian.

Thanks for that. Thats what I had planned to do.
I was wondering if there was a forum member here, who was into that stuff.
