Hi all!
In my carrier No2 Mk2* built in 1944 the engine has a Carter Ball & Ball D6L2 carburetor. Now I am looking for a rep-kit to rebuild it. This is one of the last steps before I can start the engine. I found a source: http://www.carburetor-parts.com/Cart...Kit_p/4060.htm I think I read that on the late production this carburetor was a usual part – but I am not sure. Is there anyone with this carburetor? Who has any information? What is the right carburetor?

I dont know the answer to your question, but I think that carb would be more at home on your WC51 Dodge.
The earlier Canadian Carriers used a Zenith carb.

Thanks Lynn!
I supposed that it is not the correct carburetor. What is the correct type for the No2 Mk2* built in 1944? Dirk sells a carburetor for Bren Gun Carrier Mk I and Loyd Carrier Mk I & II Part no. Solex type: 40RZINP. Is this the right one?

The Solex is from the early carriers with the the small motors. Your carrier will perform much better with the 94 or 97 style Stromberg, which is readily available and is easy to buy parts for.
