Default Iltis in the movies

So I had a request to supply 4 mocked up iltis for a movie shoot in Vancouver about a month ago as they were going to be blown up and run over with a T54/55 tank. the movie is called THE INTERVIEW and I believe to be out next October sometime.

I spotted an Iltis on an episode of Stargate Atlantis (circa 2004). My eyes were distracted to the good looking Russian officer who was driving. I guess a GAZ 4x4 was too hard to find locally.

I think Chris summed it up nicely.

Once thing that should be learned from a thread like this, which shows before and after pictures of a quick cosmetic application, is that you should never buy a vehicle based on photos only.....spend the loot to travel out and see it in person, or get someone local to have a look at it for you. Imagine how much someone might have paid on something like ebay based on the pre-crush photos.

Who says they were in a bad shape? Some people would have no problem with letting as-good-as-new Iltis jeeps be crushed, simply because they truly dislike the type of vehicle
