Wanted.
suitable spring for F15A hand brake cable. It is a compression spring. It fits on the rear cable that attaches to the brake shoes. The original dimensions are: 260 mm free length, 11.2 mm outsdide diameter and 4.3mm inside diameter. The outside diameter is important, as the hole through the brake backing plate is about 12mm. It might be the same spring on later Ford trucks, but I don't really want to pay $60 for a spring. If you wanted to make the cable, I would recommend getting a longer Ford cable that has the same threaded fitting and shorten the cable and lengthen the casing. There are plenty on Ebay.

Hi Eric, is this the spring you are looking fore. They are the right length but approx. 5mm by 8mm inside/outside. They are out of a C15A.
