Interesting pictures of Canadian Bofors guns. The Swedish made looked a bit different and had electrical sights.
Stellan Delivery photo of an original M/1936 L/60 Bofors.

I have some pictures of a Bofors 40mm I took at an airshow. Are these of any interest? I will post them if some one wants to see them

How does the Russian museum get their tyres to stay up with no inner tubes? I note they are not sitting on axle stands, and the tyre is off the seat. These tyres aren't all that strong to support the weight of the gun with no air!
PS: We have plenty of 9.00-13 inner tubes here in Australia if the Russians are willing to trade. ![]() Moderators note: edited to include link to picture (source). |

Nice 40mm but spoilt by the flat tyres. The wheels have no weight on them as the platform is resting on its outriggers and feet.
Better than using concrete filled tyre as was done here in Oz on alot of guns, mainly 25 pdrs. Try getting one of those off a rim. |
