Gentlemen; I'm considering trading my restored M-29C (minus tanks)weasel for an unrestored t-16 Carrier. Its a Swiss return, rusty, barely runs. Mostly complete as a Swiss return. I dont have pictures of it as of yet. Comments welcome. Jesse.

Jesse, I would enjoy learning from you about the details of a T16 as you meticulously restore it. (not that I am trying to influence your decision either way)

Jesse,
I would not hesitate; personally I prefer the T16 over the M29 many times over ![]() Can't comment on the price of a unrestored T16 vs. a restored M29, but one would expect the price of a restored vehicle to be higher than an unrestored one? HTH, Hanno

Are there parts available, or blueprints of those parts, to bring a Swiss return T-16 back to original? I dont follow the vehicle market much, but knowledgeable people Ive contacted seem to agree that it would be a fair trade, or I would need to get something in addition. The owner of the T-16 thinks just the opposite. Its close by, so no shipping cost. Thanks for the comments. Jesse.

there was a swiss t16 sold on milweb a couple of years back for £9000. which gives you an idea of the value

Have a read of this thread by David AKA 'Horsa'; http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ighlight=horsa It is a tremedous read and should answer a lot of your questions. I am a weasel owner and my thoughts on the better vehicle are very biased ![]() ![]() http://www.m29cweasel.com/ or the Facebook Weasel forum; https://www.facebook.com/groups/419034584889135/ I think that you would get the message out to the right group of people. How can I determine whether this Carrier has the original, or the Swiss tracks?

Jesse, they look pretty worn. Nearer the end of their life than the start.
