I believe these sockets to be fairly uncommon, especially judging by how long some members have been looking for one. So I happened across a spare, and one of the things I have been looking for is the original carrier jack block. So if anyone wants to do an even trade, let me know. I'll give it a week, and if this offer does not result in any trades, then I'll perhaps put it for outright sale.
Photo to follow, but if it is on your list of must haves, then you know what it looks like. Edited to add: Have two different years: 43 and 44 dates. Trader's choice. Last edited by rob love; 12-10-15 at 03:12. |

Nothing seen.....I have fired one towards you.
Edited to add: Micheal's dibs is if a trade cannot be worked out. He does not have a block for me. ![]() Last edited by rob love; 12-10-15 at 01:50. |

As a point of interest I believe the T16 jack block was the same design as the Canadian Carrier jack block. However, from the examples that I have, the NOS T16 jack blocks have their American part number boldly stencilled in black lettering. On the other hand the CMP truck jack blocks had no slot or metal plate to retain the jack: they were just a slab made from laminated wood.
