Default CMP lights

Hello
A question about the cab 11 and 12 headlights, are those special built for the canadian army or are they used on other civilian trucks?

An other question, can some one give me the type of side lamps used on british army CMP on the front fenders, I think they are lucas? Are they used in WWII or are they post war?

Cheers
Sylvain

Hi
I think the headlights I think are specific military.
The side light are also called Butler side lights and are used on many war time British vehicles.
Cheers

Default side lights

Harle'

Here are some pictures of the different side lights used on Canadian trucks.
The first two are the type used on the early production #11 and #12 cab trucks the second two pictures are the side lights used on the later #13 cab trucks.

Hello
and thank's for your quick replys!

Gordon, here is a picture from my "poor" convoy light, (so early type), but on the front fenders, the only holes I can find is on the top ,it was rewelded, but still there, that the way I thought it was for a buttler light like Niels says, and not for the comon canadian type.

It was certainly use by the british army ,should it be possible to know more of this truck after the serial number

Cheers
Sylvain

Harle, the light in your picture likely wasn't original.
