Default ford Fat doors

hello
I have fast finished my doors repro, could anyone give me the size of the "hole" under the outside door handle?

Good to see the FAT coming back to life; Excellent work on the doors. I am not sure which hole you mean. Are they not in the pics/measurements I posted?

Thanks you for your compliments for my work it makes me Happy !

I done my doors after your pictures, but after looking other doors I noticed that there is different form of Holes. (symetric an not). And I would like to know more about before welding Ny one.

I think Harle is referring to finding different shape patterns for the pentagonal recess the door handle fits into. Another Ford/Chev variation, perhaps?

Yes exactly, it's not easy to explain in english for me !
here is an other type seen on the web. It looks to exist an third type , a bit higher.

In addition to perhaps being a Ford/Chev variation, Harle, it might also be something that evolved through the design changes from Cab 11 to Cab 12 to Cab 13.

We may need to look at each FAT Type in detail to sort it out.
