CUCV 2 Suburban
As seen in the Auctions section, there is currently a cucv 2 suburban type truck for sale.
From what I have dug up on Google, the US procured about 800 of these and several other allied countries purchased them as well including the UK. What is odd from the seller ad is the speedo. It could in fact simply be a replacement unit from a civilian CK series truck but it is a metric speedo. Surly the US contract would not use this type. The data plate is vague as it does not give a reg number nor a contract number. I am wondering if any of our gurus might be able to enlighten me on this particular vehicle. I wondered if it may have been a sample or trial truck when the CF was looking for a replacement for the 5/4 (Silverado LSSV) or possibly a Batus vehicle considering that the UK bought some of these...
