Default New TIRES

Does anyone know of a Ontario based (cheap)source of military tires for a 67' M38A1.....I am looking for 7.00 x 16 NDCC tires.....not including Willy's Acres? Preferably STA brand.

Thanks,

Order them from summit racing in the US. They give free shipping within the US so have them shipped to the border and bring them across yourself. Your main options are Coker Firestone marked, or the STAs. There is also another brand on the market on ebay (MRF I think) that are cheaper and also have free shipping, but I can't speak to the quality. Last option is Titan. I have got a few of those from a US surplus dealer at $75 each, and the only negative I have is that they were extremely tight on the bead....I had to inflate them to somewhere around 50 pounds to get the beads to seat, then deflate them back to 30.

Ack on shipping to a US drop off address.

Where I live, Ogdensburg is the closest US "civilization". The standard procedure is to order them shipped to a UPS outlet and instruct the destination to call you for pickup. After that you drive to the Canadian side and empty your wallet. However it is cheaper than taking a second mortgage on the house if received in Canada.

Default Tires in Ontario

Thanks Guys...another place for STA NDCC tires is Sylmar Tire in Hawksbury, Ont....they are $200.00/each with $45/each shipping....OUCH! If driving to Montreal on return Hawksbury is close for a pickup....just saying.

Many thanks for all the ideas for a spring tire purchase.

Also look at Universal Tire. They are good to work with on shipping options.
