| Carrier part no stencils

I've finally bitten the bullet and started to strip out the hull of my Carrier to restore the internals. Whilst removing the 'dog kennel' I noticed a 'TL' part number stencilled onto the upright devis ion plate. Is it normal for Ford assemblies to have the part numbers stencilled on them. I note that almost all the smaller parts are stamped with a TL or CTL number. I also found that the radiator overflow piping is all there, bonus!

'Decision plate' Auto check again? I'm thinking that it wouldn't have had a part number stenciled on at the factory, but in spare parts stores maybe, for easier ID of larger parts? Ron |
