Last.
If anyone is wondering, the program I use to brighten these images is Adobe Photoshop Elements. Its the basic Photoshop package and I just use the image enhancement mode. Works pretty well. No matter how dark or old an image is. as long as there are pixels, they can be enhanced. Bob |

Okay, I'm being lazy and not going to grab the books. That said most of the Army Fords I have seen didn't have the turn signal and often the headlight sheetmetal punched out. They had military style lights placed on top of the fender.

Hi Hanno
Nothing wrong with my monitor. I find a lot of the posted images are too dark thereby losing a lot of detail. I notice that two of my enhanced images are missing but the third is there. Any reason why? If you feel my enhancing isn't warranted and wasting valuable space I won't carry on with the practice apart for my own edification. Bob |

Hanno
I take your point on the different types of monitors and their adjustments. I can only go by my results. However according to my monitor my two images on this thread are as different as chalk and cheeze. The detail on the enhanced version is quite explicit. If it is my monitor why should those two images be different. Regarding your monitor, do you get as much detail out of the darker image as you may get out of my enhanced image. It depends on your answer what I will do with my monitor. Always interested to learn Regards - Bob |
