Default Dog house question

HI everyone

On my dog house there is a horse shoe shaped part that is attached to the top panel. I brought this up with some of the CMP guys in attendance and no one seemed to really know what it was for.

Don Birnie seemed to think it may have been part of some modifications for a deep wading kit. He thought there may have been a post on this same question a few years ago on the old MLU forum. (No luck in find such a thread)

I thought mine may have been some previous owner making changes but then while look in the back of the Caldwell's FAT there was a spare dog house exactly the same. So it must have been somthing offical.

Does anyone remeber this thread?

Thanks for the link.

So does anyone have any pictures of this deep wading hose setup?
