Hello all,
I am new on the forum, I life in France and I am interested much in Bren gun carrier. I saw to sell this Bren carrier, but I strange the wheels... wouldn't find be reversed ? which type of Bren gun carrier is this? thank you for your assistance. best regards Guillaume ![]() |

It looks to be a Mk2 Carrier. Or at least a Mk1 that had been updated to a Mk2.
Yes that front road wheel unit is reversed. So far I thought it was only Charlie Fitton's machine that was like that.

Well spotted Guillaume. I guess that someone reversed the wheel stations at a time of rebuild. The left station is on the right and I presume the right is on the left. A good reason for taking lots of photos before you start a rebuild. I have done the some thing on another vehicle. When I replaced the throttle linkages,I put them upside down and could not work out why I was only getting 1/3 throttle. It was not until another vehicle the same was along side, that I noticed the error. Wonder how different the ride is with the stations reversed. Rick
