Greetings,
When Krause Publication founder, Chet Krause, sold his military vehicle collection a few years ago, folks figured he was done with the hobby. But, once a collector, always a collector! In the the last three years, Chet decided to put together a collection of military 4x4 1/4-ton trucks. At the 2007 Iola MV show, his collection was displayed. Photos of his vehicles (including a few rare birds!) are located here: http://www.militaryvehiclesmagazine....9#5659Articles Hope you enjoy viewing his collection, John A-G |

hi john
thank you for sharing with us chet's collection. the one that really fascinates me is the cj/v35u as next to the four wheel steer, it's probably the rarest of them all!! |

hi john
it seems to me that i read a story a while back that several v35/u's were found relatively close in proximity to each other. all had been used at some time by either the u.s. forrest service, or the geological survey, i can't remember which. it seem to me that these were found in one of the southern states, maybe georgia, but again, it's been a while since i read about them. in any event, it's great to see one more saved, but that goes for any military vehicle!! cheers!! mike |
