Are the studs and nuts for the wheels the same for the C60 and the F60? Also the brake drums. Thank you Colin

Colin, on both Ford and Chev CMPs of all sizes, the left hand wheel studs and nuts are 5/8" UNF (5/8-18 tpi) Left hand thread, while the right hand side are 5/8 UNF (5/8-18) Right hand thread. The divided rim nuts are 7/8" BSF (7/8-11) RH thread on all wheels.
Brakes on CMPs are all Ford sourced! Rear brake drums, wheel cylinders and shoes are the same for C15/F15/C15A/F15A/C30/F30/C60/F60/CGT/FGT. Rear backing plates varied depending on fitment of wheel or transmission handbrakes. Front brakes for C15A/F15A/60cwt/GTs with "small" steering ends are all the same, while 60cwts/GTs with "big" steering ends all have the same front brakes. "Big" front brakes share the same shoes as the rear brakes. |
