Gold Maple Leaf marking
This falls into my earlier Black Watch markings thread, but is somewhat more general.
Is the gold Maple Leaf in the formation marking applied with a gold metallic paint, or a golden yellow ei: yellow ochre colour? Thanks in advance, Matt

Got an answer from the Canadian War Museum - They use a dull gold metallic paint in leiu of a water transfer decal.
