I found this number 7 on my FAT , it is painted in blue over the white black out paint. Does any one have an idea of his signification? regards Sylvain |

Sylvain,
Can't find a pictures at the moment, it could be the AoS (Arm of Service), which was sometimes painted on the rear differential cover.

Sylvain,
Any more numbers on the left?....maybe on the other half of the axle? Could it be "173".....11 Royal Canadian Artillery? Alex

Hello
Nothing more , than a 73. If I understand (and it's not very clear for me) the 73 is for a LAAT So, were FAT in use in a anti aircraft unit or mabe the rear axle where change? Cheers Sylvain |
