Can someone provide the measurement for the width of the raised lip/frame as indicated on the photo. Imperial or metric is fine, whichever is easier.
Further to this, could also use the width and height of all visor doors and crew door (this would include the raised lip detail as pictured above). That would be five sets of measurements - assuming those on the left and right side of the vehicle are identical. This would be used to correct the details on the Miniart Dingo scale model. Probably a limitation in plastic injection, but they have the hinges sitting in cutouts instead of being on top of the door covers. ![]() regards, Jack |

I measured my Mk2, the lip including the weld is 15/16 of an inch.

Hello Gord, thanks for that.
![]() So will go with 3/4 inch lip then. That leaves 3/16 to create the weld beads with putty. Need to to train a spider to do those in 1/35 scale. regards, Jack |
