1948 Jaffa Road, Jerusalem

This shot is from my dad's album, and was taken in the Jaffa Road, Jerusalem in 1948 when he was in the RAMC. I am trying to work out whether the 1941-2 Model Chevrolet is ex-British Middle East or what! Note the British style blackout headlamp, and nearside mirror...was this a lhd truck?
