whats this?
I have a delco-remy generator regulator model 1118505 6 volt system 25 ampere positive ground made in USA. Does anyone know what it fits? It also has a red label on it that says its fungus and corrossion resistant.

I thought it maybe off a GMC CCKW but the part number does not match . They are positive ground systems , 6volt and do have a 25 amp alternative . Is it the big type like the Jeep . Regards Jim S

Jim it's 8 inches long by 5 inches high and has 3 terminals on one side.

The part numbers for the two GMC CCKW regulators are , 40 amp 1118468 25 amp 005628 A dukw may take a 25 amp regulator ( no night driving ) and want something that was corrosion and fungus resistant . Regards Jim S.
