Looks like a tree pusher-overer.
They were often used in combination with another pair of tanks with a large rolling ball chained between them to clear the smaller scrub.

Im pretty sure its a much modified M3A5 Grant fitted with centurion tracks and suspension units.
its still got the rear armour plate which mounts the up rights to crane jib and grant drive sprockets. Luke |
