Wanted: Quality canvas.

Hello,

Can anybody suppily me with, or point me in the right direction, of some quality canvas. I want a kharki colour canvas of a good thickness. I have found some kharki canvas but its a bit thinner than i would like, we were told its what they use on landrovers.

Just to help make your search for sources more productive, see your location as being Stockport, I assume that is Stockport UK.

There have been a number of good threads over the years concerning vehicle canvas that might be worth taking a look at if you have not already done so. What is good will really depend on how you are using it and how long you expect it to last.

I've been replacing cotton canvas as used in seats and covers on my CMPs with Dupont Cordura it is available in a wide color range and different weaves. It wears like iron and sews like a dream.

Thanks for the reply, yes i'm in the uk.

These factory picturesof the MWT show the canvas quite well, it almost looks padded.
