Default UC & T16 button head grease fittings

Can any of you carrier owners tell me what thread is used on button head fittings?
Is it 1/8 pipe or some Brirtish thread?? Does a T16 also use button head grease fittings and if so, what thread are they. Finally I have a large quantity of button head fittings with what appears to be 3/8 pipe thread. ASide from bulldozers does anyone know of military vehicle applications for these ??

I believe the thread is 1/8" NPT.
Its tapered, and also universal which is nice.
Pipe thread is pipe thread everywhere in the world.....So far.

A U.C. carrier uses 3/8 BSF threaded grease fittings, which are neither BSP (Brit) or NPT (American)

Default buttonhead fittings

So I cleaned the grease off a bunch of fittings and note that some are stamped 1/8 pipe and LINCOLN so they are not British, do they fit T16 or are they close enough to match the thread on a UC

The same fittings were used on the guns like 25 pdr, 6 pdr etc. I would have to check the threads.

I just removed two of the button nipples from my 2 pounder AT gun to find that they are 1/8 BSP parallel 27tpi. Which I guess is the same as 1/8 NPT.
I also removed one of my Canadian UC nipples to find it's 3/8 x 20tpi (BSF) as Lynn said. Ron

Whilst on the subject of BSP. Does anyone know a source for 1/16" BSP fittings for 3/16" and 1/4" pipe please?

Ron
