i have a moris c-8 that needs a tire. i bought a set in europe but one was distroyed in a wreck. the tires are firestone ground grip 600x19 i think. they are the same tread as seen in keith webbs last posting http://www.mapleleafup.org/forums/sh...&threadid=3077
anyway i am having a big problem finding them here in the USA. anyone have a source for them? thanks dave ![]()

The latest issue of Supply Line, a publication of the MVPA, lists a few guys that sell tires. RAPCO in Bowie, TX claims to have Denman tires ( Mexico ) 9.00 x 16 NDT and inner tubes. Also Wallace W. Wade Specialty Tires in Dallas, TX has 900 x x16/8 - made in USA ( McCreary ). Probably not a match, but that just means that you have to get 4. Stewart |

Not clear from your post is it the size or the tread pattern that you can't find. I believe that the tires you are looking at are commonly considered to be a NATO version of the US non-dirrectional tire. They were groved to give them better snow and pavement traction. They are advertised from time to time in Supply Line I would check with some of the guys who were importing NATO vehilces from Norway a few years ago.
General question what current or recent military vehicle uses a 600x19 inch tire?

sorry it was late 9.00 x 16 is the right size, and yes its the nato tread. anyone know a source?
