The first one is your typical DND plate as would have been affixed to military vehicles. The second plate is the type issued in Germany to Cdn Forces members, family, and some employees for use on their privately owned motor vehicles. That particular plate is of the type issued to POMV from 1961 to 1968.

Go to the above link and scroll down to the Canadian Military section. It looks like you have a 1963 4 wing series, and both the other two types are listed as 1971 series. |
