#12 cab fuel sender switch lever wanted
Hi Everyone.
For those of you who dont know me, I am the Curator of the Milne Bay Military Museum in Toowoomba Queensland Australia. Vehicles I own include, 42 Willys restored, C8 #12 cab Chev restored, C15 #12 cab unrestored, WM20 being restored, Corgi restored, Welbike unrestored, 2 x Par bikes unrestored and Bren Gun Carrier drivable but going to re-build this year. This is the Bren from Dubbo museum. I'll talk about the carrier in the carrier forum at a later date. My delema is this. Last year while I had my #12 C8 on display, some low-life decided to steal the fuel tank L R sender unit lever. They just took the lever as I suppose it was abit obvious if they lifted the bonnet to take the whole switch. I am anxious to find another, two infact, one for my C15 also. If someone has one spare and would like to part with it I would be extremely greatfull. Even if someone has a picture of this type of switch, and they could post it for me so everyone knows what it looked like, that would be great. Isnt it sad when one idiot cant respect someone elses hard work. Thanks for your interest guys. |

Brian Asbury
Darren ,
I got a new Chev. cab 11/12 - L/R fuel gauge switch and lever from Brian Asbury some years ago . He may still have a few in stock ? Brian is in Canada , a long time CMP parts supplier , he had lots of good parts , but I don't know if he has anything left ? Probably best if you write to him . Somebody on this forum will know his address , he came down to a Corowa event years ago . Mike
