| Help to ID Austin truck

Hi, I had a look at this Austin truck and the owner believes it was a WW2 Australian army vehicle before it was 'done up' for a movie. Can anyone suggest what year it may be?? It had one plate on it which read VB K2 104670.

| Post war ?

It's more likely to be a post WW2 civilian farm truck from new , they were sold here up to around 1948-49 , but not in great numbers . You don't see many around these days , the ubiquitous Bedford 'O' series was far more popular here for some reason . You will see ten Bedfords for each Austin you find . Mike
