			Hi James:

These are still on issue in the CF and are used as fire sirens in large tented camps. They have many other uses... I had one on my ammo truck as a young Gunner and had to crank it as I drove through the built up area of Camp Dundurn to warn people I was loaded with live ammo... of course it never entered any one's mind that my hands were already full driving a Deuce with 5 tons of ammo on board and no power steering! Cheers! Mike

Does the army still have these sirens on their SMP MP vehicles?
