Well i can't argue with the information at hand and you cant beat photo's.
I will change the location of the gunners side light. By the way, i made the housings to bolt on so it won't be a problem to move.

Thanks for the info.
regards
Colin Jones

Default Out Of The Closet

Hi Colin
Finally convinced you to stop being a lurker and joining the MLU Family. Welcome aboard. You can now flaunt the fact that you own one of the most unique Carriers in Oz and that I am proud to be associated with it and to render any assistance possible. As a bonus to me you can now post your own images and take full credit for what you are achieving.
Bob

as you can see, you dont have you machine every surface also you don't have to be a qualified machinist. I bought my mill two months ago and learnt as i went.

forgot to mention. All the rounded edges were done by a very special tool called a 5inch grinder with a flap disc.

WOW. Amazing work Colin, Your really moving along fast, Really look forward to the finished vehicle, Lots of pictures please as I was hoping to get to Corowa next year but there's just to much going on here. Especially look forward to pics of the Vickers, I'm doing the same but being a chippie mines being built partially out of wood. Are you going to rig it for propane firing? Keep up the awesome work, Cheers David...

That plate you can see leaning against thr back wall fits on top of the steering tee at the base of the column. I sits between the two roller bearings on the turning yoke.
