Well its a Churchill hull so its RARE as hens teeth !! If only you knew where it was located at . Looks like the Dozer blade and arms are from a Caterpillar Dozer with a winch type set up to alter the blade height and cut depth . The Air intakes for the motor on the side of the hull have been modified . I wonder if its possible can you ask your friend for more photos ? Its also high on my dream list of gotta be certified crazy to not have one projects . Last edited by Plushy; 31-07-07 at 13:08. |

Wouldn't be surprised... it seems almost all the surviving Churchills anywhere in the world are Mk.VII flame tanks. Looking at the mods to this one, it's unlikely a frontal shot will tell you much, but a rear one might!

| The round side hatches

identify it as a later production Mk VII with 75mm gun (or Mk VIII with 95mm Howitzer). I understand that all (or most) of these were produced with the mounting holes so that a crocodile flame thrower kit could be fitted. This means that the presence of mounting holes for the trailer coupling won't tell us whether it was a crocodile or not, only if any bits of the flame gear remain. Rob ps I remember seeing bits of Churchill suspension on a demolition range in the Hunter Valley back in '83. |

| Churchill manual

Just so people are aware, this is a replica/reprint and not an original manual. Also it regularly appears on ebay so no limited stocks I would guess. No connection with it, I'm just an ebay junkie. |
