Default Liars and Thieves Elected - Again!

I don't believe the election results - a majority government for the liberals...Ontario has manifestly embraced corruption and bad government.

Thanks to the media for making a small issue into a red herring - funding of faith based schooling of all things. I can hear the teachers union cracking open the bubbly already.

Congratulations Ontario, you got the government you deserve.

Any more room out in Alberta?

That moron reminds me about Dr. Goebbels... he is VERY scary...

Time to move, you're right. Then again, it's been like that since bloody Trudeau got in anyway. Hell, I can't take one more goddam Canadian winter, much less our politicians!

Sorry, but there really is nothing available west of the Ontario border.

You guys are doing a good job out there in Ontario. Keep those liberals busy so we can enjoy the peace and quiet of the prairies.

My Lord...(off hand reference to faith based funding )...I just cannot believe how stupid the Ontario voters are.

Returning the Lieberals with a 4 year majority is appalling.

Watch out boys and girls...squeeze yer wallets to pay for lunatic Liberal social engineering projects which would put the NDP to shame.

Dammit, John Tory, why did you shoot yourself in the foot with that absolutely stupid idea of faith based funding? Were you trying to catch on to the typical Liberal trick of pandering to the immigrants?

Probably not a good idea to rant like this on a Forum like this...but!!!!

Default One good thing about last night...

...beyond the fact that I had a good sleep.

At least we avoided the silliness of the proposed Mixed Member Proportional electoral system.

Imagine, 20% more MPPs to make the same bad decisions, but taking forever to do it because of the need to build a coallition to prop up a wobbly idea based on a public opinion poll.

Now we have to hope that the proposition is truly dead and not one of those stupid ideas who's supporters don't recognize that they've been told to take their idea and go away, but rather keep going until everyone is so tired of them that they somehow get enough support to put the idea in place "for a trial period" and then declare that it is such a resounding success that it has to be a permanent thing and that changing to any other sytem than theirs can't even be talked about, let alone done.

Understand that I have a low opinion of most politicians (as opposed to statesmen). I see one group, the majority of politicians, as being most interested in their own glory regardless of the harm they do to the country and people and the other, the true statesmen, as being there to genuinely help people and run the country responsibly both internally and externally, not pandering to every silly idea that comes along in order to win votes.

Grant.
That MMP system of voting and electing our representative is a method of getting the loosers and hacks into the public trough, dreamed up by loosers and hacks, slimy back room types that said ..."Well we didn't get our way this year but we will next time...""
Sound familiar....something like the seperation question....
Jezz,if NFLD or the West seperate I hope it is a quick and desicive one time referendum....I'll probably be trampled in the rush to go with them...either one..
so I don't think we have heard the end of this..
What a nightmare..
Dalton MaGuilty lives right around the corner from me and I almost met him at the polling booth yesterday..I must have just missed him...all his "Security" detail and press was there...but I got in and out before the slimeball got there..
