			Hi Guys ,

For awhile now i have been searching my local area for a specific Family that was reputed to be Blitz wreckers after the war . the rumour went that they used to buy lots of Blitz`s Studebakers and carriers from Bandiana after the war to supply the Local sawmills and Farmers with parts to keep there blitz`s and carriers and studebakers running . After checking out lots of different supposed locations and people who `knew the family but werent sure of the address` i couldnt find them . But during my search for the brake shoe cams my Friend Rowan Gamble told me to go to a certain place and ask the old guy there and Lo and Behold i found the Family and the Stories are True !! . The Father bought Dozens of Blitz`s and Studebakers and wrecked them into there parts , everything was sorted and stored away ready to be sold on later to the locals . The Son know has all the parts and apparently a lot of the Ford specific stuff is gone now but he still has a lot of NOS Chev and Studebaker parts stored away he wont say exactly what he has but he took about 20 secs to produce a NOS backing plate for me and said he had more if i needed them . He is going to try and write a bit of a inventory which i will pass on to you guys in case there is anything your after . He Doesnt have any panels or Fuel tanks or cab framse or chassis but he does have gears and steering box internals and various other stuff . As Soon as i find out more i will let you guys know .Cheers Plushy |
