Sorry if I confused you, my mistake, engine mounted over the generator. I have worked on these when they were in service, mostly the engine side, not the electrical part. The questions on this set have been asked before and I am sure that I had a manual to refer to, but have not found it yet.

Definitely a post war trailer although has same features as the WW2 10 cwt lightweight trailer. When this gen set was declared obsolete, some of these trailers were adapted for an Onan 6kva set.
