WTF - A Remembrance Day parade!

When I came home from the Gulf War, I marched in the Nov 11 parade in my hometown. I fell in with the Veterans, and found myself beside an old fella who had pre WWII service. I kept pace with him despite the accordion opening up in front of us and the cadet band whomped out a 120 paces per minute beat. We held up the whole GD parade! Did I give a shit?
