If you are talking about the SCA 1250kg engine crane, the identical (made in China) crane is marketed here under OTC as model 2002. OTC lowers the rating a bit though, and only recommends 500 pounds fully extended, which is what you will need to get over the armour on a carrier and over to the installation point. Five hundred is a little low for that purpose.

Personally, I use the real OTC stuff which was made in the USA. I can't afford to buy the stuff new, but have made some good deals on second hand stuff. My current OTC crane (model 1820) will actually pick up a ferret hull and load it onto the trailer.
