Default Type XXI U-Boats Discovered in Germany

Just read an article on FACEBOOK about three of these boats being rediscovered in a pen somewhere in Germany. Seems the British Army blew up the entrance after the war, sealing the three boats inside the dry docks. Somebody tried to strip some parts from them in later years, but from the photos looks like two complete boats could be made from what still sits there today. Quite a remarkable U-Boat design and I do not know if any ever made it into service before the war ended.
