Default Backgrounder

For the keen eyed observer this will be old news, but I offer it anyway.

This truck has appeared in the magazine some may remember - Bart Vanderveen's Wheels & Tracks - The International Review of Military Vehicles.

Issue No. 26 from 1988, page 5 had a few snaps from the Saskatchewan Army Vehicle Enthusiasts meet at CFB Moose Jaw on 9/10 July. The caption is "Lorne and Jon Swan also own 1942 C15A."

Oddly, if he can be called odd, is another photo submitted by Ed Storey of a Warriors Day parade in CFB Petawawa that depicts a ( younger ) Charlie Fitton and Mark Adams in what I can only assume is Perry Kitsons Universal Carrier. ( I jest, it is probably Malcolm Phillips, although Perry did get his resto hulk from Malcom).

What a small world.
