Looking at the starter motor you made a wise choice, because the Toyota one looks like it is a geared one, which will mean reliable and more swinging power.
Had you thought of taking the ring gear off and reversing it through 180 degress. Might make for even nore reliability. I must say that the quality of your work is excellent. Regards Col
