Default Is this a WWII German Tank Radio/Intercom?

Greetings,
This item was recovered from a defunct Belgian military museum and was described as a "tank radio". It measures 21.5cm x 20cm x 12cm. The dataplate on teh front reads, "BAUMUSTER: E 20 / Werk Nr.: 36 88983 / Anf. Z.: F1 26590". What was it used for? To when does it date?
I have been unable to confirm or deny that. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thank you so much!
